I will catch up I promise! Only 1 day behind now :)
So Day 9 is all about the animal inside us all....
Heres a sneaky look at my first page for Janels Journaling for a Cause class. Her prompt was a welcome page with 5 adjectives describing your life. I had loads of fun doing this.
I really enjoyed doing this one but I can tell you now, that I didn't realise how long cross hatching takes to do!!

Promt 6 of the 30 Day Journal Challenge
Just a quickie to catch up on the challenge. I am now totally up to date and a starting today with today's challenge :D
So this one is:
Journal Prompt Number 6:
It's time...
It's definitely time to do something. It may be a new season for you in your life, or a time to make some goals, or it may just be time to relax (because it's Saturday right?).
Draw something that represents the word time and then make a list of things that you need to do at this time in your life, or day, or week :)

Day 5 of The Journal Challenge
Moving swiftly on....oooh I hear you say, two posts in one day!! Yep, you better believe it baby :)
I had loads of fun doing this one, not that I haven't had fun with all of them!
The prompt was............
Journal Prompt Number 5:
We are all obviously bloggers right, or else you wouldn't be here :) Even if you don't have a blog, I know that you read them.
This page is dedicated to your favorite blogs!! What are they? Are there any blogs that you can't go a day without checking?

I have an ever changing list of blogs I read, there are so many wonderful ones out there but you can only dedicate so much time to loosing yourself in them before reality comes along and bops you on the head! Washing to do, hoovering, kids to feed, shopping, hanging out the washing......................pick the kids up,help with homework, cook dinner, bedtime stories,Bed.
I haven't listed all the ones I read at the moment but I have a mixture. I ALWAYS read NienieDialogues, I think she is amazing and an inspiration to ALL, I always go to HaptreeAndMe especially for blogging tips..she is fantastically helpful, TheBunnyMaker I consider a sock friend and so I always catch up on her gossip and am usually jealous of something amazing like her new kitchen and workroom, JellieBean76 is a really fun read, my 2 new favourites are IHeartRunWithScissors obviously for setting this wonderful journal challenge and I have discovered her blog is a great read...and secretly I love Clint too and last but not least is UnfamiliarCeiling who I have found through this journal challenge. I love her site and love her journal.
Go check them out if you have a spare 5 mins, cuppa in hand and make sure you have a lovely sticky cake to hand too.

Day 3 of The 30 Day Journal Challenge
Day 3 in the Journalling challenge. I must say I am enjoying this so much. Thank you Janel!!
This was the prompt we had to play with.
Journal Prompt Number Three: It's always nice to share with someone why you love them. Today, I want you to draw a picture, doodle, sketch, of a person who you love, or admire. Then, write that person a letter telling them why they mean so much to you!

I chose to journal about my other half, he is infuriating but I love him nonetheless, we fit and we fit well. We have a great family life together with our 3 little uns. He often makes me cross and want to slam plates about but that's normal right? He's messy, he makes me late for everything, he reads on the loo, he doesn't make the bed blah blah blah........by the way, apparently all he hears is blah blah blah!! Did I mention rude?? But despite all that (and I am sure there is more) he is my best friend, the person I want to see when I am upset, the person I want to give me a cuddle, the person I want to tell all my stories about the embarrassing things I have done today, the person I want to have a laugh with, the person I want to sit in front of the telly with, the person I want to talk to for hours about nothing in particular, the person I want to sleep next too and the person I want to sleep with.

I Have Taken Up The Challenge!!
The other day whilst doing a bit of blog hopping I stumbled across Run With Scissors! And immediately fell in love with the 30 Day Journal Challenge! Basically Janel, me and countless others are going to be journaling every day for 30 days. Janel will give a prompt every day on her website and then we let our imaginations go wild hehehe.
She has a Flickr group where you can upload your journal pages.
I started a teeny tiny bit late but I caught up with the first 2 pages last night.

So there you have it, my first 2 journaling attempts. I am thoroughly enjoying myself and am looking forward to the next 28 pages!!
Ps note to self, clean camera lens!
