Chantal Loves Vintage

Hello Strangers :)

Sorry it's been awhile.

Please forgive me?

I'm here to let you all know that I have started a new blog and Etsy shop called Chantal Loves Vintage.  I did this because I didn't want to be tied down to selling and writing about vintage beads and charms only.  I will still be selling them, I will just be selling and chatting about other stuff too.

I would love to have kept Betty's Place up and running but I couldn't change my headers to remove the beads and charms but.  You guys probably didn't notice that and if you did probably don't think it's worth me worrying about....but it just niggled me.  My hugely talented sister designed the header for me but her computer died and so it was lost forever without being able to change.

I'll stop babbling now, sorry.

I really really hope to see you over at my new blog, I really love it and I hope you love it too. So drop by and say hello.  I promise I'll wave back.

Hey Baby, I'm Back.....Again

Haha, I'm back again my lovelies.  And in my return I bring you a beautiful array of vintage beads.  Today I listed a few in my Etsy shop and i will be listing more over the next few days so make sure you keep checking as there are some beautiful ones to come.

Above are a few of my new listings but there are more to come.  It would be ace if you could pop over to my shop and let me know what you think.

All of these beautiful beads date from the 1920's up to the 1950's.

I have loads and loads more to list, I just need some sunny weather to come our way so that I can photograph them to show off their gorgeousness......and if nothing else it would be great to have the nice weather as I'm feeling a bit on the chilly side....come on sun!!

Sneaky Peek

Here's a little close up of something I am working on at the moment.

Jump Rings

I've just started jewellery making and am finding it hard to put my trust in jump rings?  Why is this?  Almost every piece of jewellery that I own has them on and other people use them, so why is it that I can't trust them?

I wonder if there is a phobia of jump rings, and what would it be called?

Here are a few photos of my first necklace.  Amazingly it's sold already!

I didn't even get a chance to give it a name :)

These little beauties have been listed in my Folksy Shop today.  These are the very last packs of these gorgeous vintage flower beads from the 1950's.  Once these beads have gone from my shop that's it, I am highly unlikely to find anymore!

A New Home

I am very excited, we have a new home!

Check it out... www.bettysplaceiscool.co.uk and let me know what you think!

You can still find my shop on Folksy and on Misi but this is now my main hub. I have combined all 3 of my shops on here so you can find vintage beads and charms, vintage buttons and Hotdog And Me sock puppy's all under one roof. Although I will be keeping my other shops open there will be much more on offer at www.bettysplaceiscool.co.uk

There is a Link Love page so if you would like a small ad for your shop or blog just email me a rectangle picture and your url to mail@bettysplaceiscool.co.uk and we will include you. Of course if any of you want to put a link to Betty's Place on your websites then we would be over the moon too.

And lastly, if you have made anything using items bought from Betty's Place then please contact me we would love to include you in the Makers Gallery with a Link to your shop.
